This is in response to Wretha in the previous' post comment. This is two 55 gallon blue plastic barrels per their idea. I didn't spend a lot of time on this but let me know if I forgot something.
That looks great! I might either bury them a bit deeper, at least half way down, or pile dirt around the outside to bring up the level of the dirt, mainly to keep the temperature more constant for the worms and the microbes, gotta keep those guys happy no matter what.
Burying it would also keep it more private, keep prying eyes from getting too nosy, for those places where this sort of thing might be against "regulations"... where I live, the only things that ARE regulated are wells and septic systems, and believe me, there are those who live out here who have nothing better to do with their time than pry into other peoples' business and turn them in for "outlaw" septic systems.
